Commercial Roof Top Unit Replacement | Athens, TN

Problem: The existing equipment was outdated, so the client wanted to install new equipment before opening their new store. Indoors, the water heater was positioned between the two units, making them cramped. Also, the new rooftop unit was not compatible with the existing curb on the rooftop.

Solution: GENT Heating & Cooling will replace the existing rooftop units with a new 10-ton commercial unit as part of a 4-phase project. We were working in a tight spot indoors but were able to relocate the water heater to give a little more space for the two units being installed today. We also installed a curb adapter to allow us to properly seat the new rooftop unit without having to remove the existing curb or reroute the ductwork.

As part of the preparations for opening a new store, KARM Stores reached out to GENT Heating & Cooling for assistance with their HVAC needs. This project involves four distinct phases, as it requires the installation of large, 10-ton commercial rooftop units. Given the scale of the equipment, careful planning and execution are essential to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process. Each phase will be strategically managed to coordinate delivery, placement, and system integration.
