AIR PURIFIER
Air Purifiers are designed to improve indoor air quality, making the air you breathe cleaner and healthier. They can remove a wide variety of airborne contaminants and pollutants such as dust, smoke, pollen, bacteria, pet dander, and mold spores from the air.
Removing pollutants from the air can provide several health benefits, improved sleep quality, and increased life expectancy. Air purifiers can also neutralize unpleasant odors from volatile organic compounds.
Gent Heating & Cooling can supply and install air purifiers for your HVAC in Knoxville. Some of our recommended options are the Reme HALO-LED and the iWave-R models.
REME HALO-LED™
The Reme HALO-LED™ in-duct air purification system is the first LED in-duct, whole-home air purification system in the heating and cooling industry. This is considered to be the next generation of indoor air quality technology and has been designed to combat 'sick building syndrome' by minimizing odors and air pollutants throughout the entire building. It's almost like bringing a breath of fresh air inside without even having to open a window!
- Particulates
- Microbial
- Gases
The Reme HALO-LED™ is effective against all three of the main categories of air pollutants:
It can help to reduce common allergens such as pollen, mold spores, pet dander, and dust. It has also been proven to be effective against airborne viruses and bacteria such as e-Coli, MRSA, and Norwalk; while also eliminating unwanted odors from cooking, laundry, pets and more.
iWave-R
The i-Wave-R is the very first self-cleaning, no maintenance needlepoint bi-polar ionization generator designed specifically for treating air in residential and commercial duct A/C systems. The device uses ionization to purify the air, removing contaminants like mold, bacteria, and viruses before the air flows into the room. It can also reduce allergens, smoke, cooking odors, particles, and even static electricity in the air without producing harmful byproducts that may damage the ozone.
iWave-R can treat the air in most brands of residential duct-based air conditioning systems up to a maximum of 6 tons without the need for maintenance or replacement parts. It is typically installed via a universal mount outside the duct or can be attached magnetically near the indoor fan of the air handler. The self-cleaning feature is set to clean every 3 days which should be sufficient for most homes, but this can be programmed to suit.
