Shane Gent grew up in rural East Tennessee and he always knew that his chosen career would be something that would allow him to serve others. He also wanted to spend time outdoors rather than behind a desk, so climate control seemed like the perfect fit! Together, Shane and his wife Ralynne have built their company based on one thing - delivering exactly what is promised! Customer service is something they pride themselves on and when one of their experienced crews comes to your property they will be courteous and professional at all times!
At Gent Heating & Cooling, we serve both residential and commercial clients across Knoxville, Knox County, and the surrounding East Tennessee area. We are an award-winning company of experts! We service and install a variety of different brands of air-conditioners, heat pumps, dual-fuel systems, ductless systems, heaters, furnaces, fan coils, filtration products, ductwork, and state-of-the-art thermostats. “My wife and I can't begin to tell you how pleased we are that we met Shane and his team. After 2 years of working with one of their "Happy" competitors and unknowingly being sold a bill of goods and scare tactics of a looming HVAC replacement at the cost of tens of "free financed" thousands, we finally have peace of mind. When our AC system finally broke down I decided to get some additional quotes. Shane came in and assessed the situation in about a half-hour... double-checking every step of the way. He even caught the fact that our condensers were flipped outside (2.5 ton installed on a 2-ton air handler and vice versa). Never a word about this from our "Happy" guys.
